3 Homemade Cookie Recipes

#1 Cinnamon Sugar Cookies
Prep Time: 15 min | Bake Time: 10 min | Total Time: 25 min 
Servings: 1 Dozen

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup Softened Butter
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • Cinnamon Sugar
Directions:
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the butter and sugar until pale and fluffy.
  2. Now, add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  3. Add the salt, baking powder, and flour till a dough forms. Refrigerate dough for one hour.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line 1 cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  5. Next, make your cookie balls and place them on the cookie sheet.
  6. Bake 8-10 minutes, or until slightly golden. Remove from oven and set aside to cool for 5 min.
  7. Enjoy! Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar for additional sweetness.


#2 Coconut Chocolate Chip Cookies
Prep Time: 15 min | Bake Time: 8 min | Total Time: 23 min

Ingredients:
  • ½ cup Butter 

  • ¼ cup Brown Sugar 

  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour 

  • ¾ teaspoon Salt

  • ½ teaspoon Baking Soda 

  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract 

  • ½ cup Chocolate Chips/Chunks 

  • 1 cup Canned Coconut Milk 


Directions:
  1. Whisk flour, salt, and baking soda in a medium bowl. Set aside.

  2. In a separate bowl whisk butter and brown sugar vigorously for 1 minute

  3. Whisk in coconut milk and vanilla extract into butter and sugar mixture.

  4. Add wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, and stir with a large spoon until nicely mixed. 

  5. Add chocolate chips/chunks into dough and mix nicely.

  6. Chill dough in the refrigerator for a minimum of 1 hour. This will make it easier to scoop, and your cookies will keep their shape while baking. (This dough can be made and kept in the fridge for 7 days.) 

  7. Grease the baking sheet with oil well, and make 10-12 balls, and place on sheet.

  8. Bake the cookies at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for about 8 minutes, or until the edges are set and cookies begin to turn golden brown throughout.

  9. Once out of the oven, let the cookies cool for 5 minutes and then eat! Store in an airtight container for about up to 3 days.


#3 Double Dark Chocolate Cookies
Prep Time: 20 min | Bake Time: 14 min | Total Time: 34 min
Servings: 1 dozen

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 cup Softened Butter
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 Dark Chocolate Chunks
Directions:
  1. Mix all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder in a medium bowl.
  2. In another bowl, whisk butter and sugar until creamy and smooth. Add milk and vanilla extract.
  3. Combined dry ingredients and wet ingredients together until dough forms.
  4. Add dark chocolate chunks to dough.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line 1 cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  6. Make your cookie balls, and bake for 14 minutes.
  7. Enjoy!
