Clay Keychains

Hi! Today I'll be telling you how to make clay keychains. This craft is very simple and cute!!!

What you need:

• air dry clay
• paint
• paper
• pencil
• crafting wire
• keychain hole
• needle
• rolling pin
• clear nail polish

1. Take a piece of paper and cut it in the desired shape. This will act as a template and it will be easier to cut out the shape you want in the clay.
2. Take a little bit of air dry clay and roll it out with your rolling pin.
3. After the clay is rolled out, take your paper template place it on the clay, and then with your needle cut around the template.
4. After your shape is cut with a pencil make a small hole towards the top of your shape.
5. Now let the clay harden for about 1-2 hours.
6. After the clay has hardened paint your shape and let it dry. After the paint is dry apply a coat of clear nail polish on the shape. This will seal the paint and give your shape a smoother finish.
7. After the clear nail polish is dry take a small piece of crafting wire and shape it into a circle. 
8. Now put the crafting wire through the hole you made in your shape and then put the keychain hole through the crafting wire.
9. Enjoy!!!
